Personal Productivity Workshop Print

Improve your productivity and become more effective at work

Personal Productivity WorkshopThe Personal Productivity Workshop is designed to teach people the skills they need to manage their time more efficiently, work with less stress and be more productive at work. Traditionally called Time Management. Our Personal Productivity Workshops help people become more organised; to plan and prioritise more effectively; and to stay focused on key tasks. Our goal is to help people become more effective in their job.

During the one day workshop, we lead people through a process of discovering their own personal productivity shortcomings and poor habits. The Personal Productivity Workshop is our Flagship course. For many people, attending this workshop has been a significant life-changing event.

Workshop Features

  • 1 month of personalised follow-up contact via email
  • Pre and Post workshop Personal Productivity Skills Assessment
  • Comprehensive Workshop Manual
  • Certificate of Completion

Workshop Outcomes

Our aim is to help people identify how they might spend more time on high priority tasks with a bias for identifying what needs to be done and then taking action.

You will:
  • discover simple ways to organise your work environment
  • be able to focus on key tasks and be less reactive
  • understand the value of creating a Weekly Plan
  • better manage interruptions & procrastinate less
  • learn strategies to manage your email
  • work with less stress and more control
  • be highly motivated to take action
We run public Personal Productivity Workshops in Albury Wodonga, Melbourne and Perth. We are also able to run these as in-house training programs. They have been particularly popular with local government organisations throughout Australia.

Client Testimonials

Like I said earlier, I am already finding there are great benefits to being more organized and I am really excited to see how much of an impact this has when I have been doing it long term.

This is going to sound dramatic I know, but thank you so much for saving my professional career and my mind!

Thanks Geoff. I have found the follow-ups valuable. Your strategy of the follow-ups should give you an edge with your competitors - I am a firm believer in the principle that a one-day training session rarely provides more than 'a warm feeling in the seat of the pants' and a fleeting intention to implement change - to achieve true change, on-going instruction/training/challenge/supervision needs to occur, and that is where your follow-ups provide a real benefit.

Just wanted you to know that I appreciate the extra effort on your part that this entails, and to let you know that it is effective.

John – Department of Justice

I attended Geoff's session ... and have been transformed as a result. While I cannot say that my habits of many years are now history, I have achieved much more control over my desk, my computer, my administration, and especially my work. This has been such a relief!

Geoff's course was well laid out, and provided a suite of tools to manage both desk top and computer. I know it's not rocket science, but after 25 years of fumbling in an administrative dark zone, to see how someone does this well is nothing short of revelatory......

I could have done with this course many years ago. Six months on, I am still using the systems, and while I have had relapses, they have been brief, and I quickly regain control now that the basics are in place.

Hi Geoff,

It is not overstating it to say that the time I spent in the Personal Productivity Workshop has changed my work practices more than any other activity that I have ever undertaken. It seems when we move into management positions we inherit a vast array of responsibilities, duties, commitments and conflicting priorities with little advice on how to manage them. It's assumed we have the skills and it so often results in frustration and poor performance when we can't manage to the level of expectations.

Learning how to manage my own workload (my own backyard if you will) has given me so much more confidence to manage my team, my responsibilities, my day to day tasks and my bigger projects. It's not always easy and I am struggling at times to keep the inbox and to-do bar under control and working for me the way I need them too, but the fact that I have the skills to organize these things my way is a huge asset.

Thank you for your time, your expertise and your generosity Geoff. ...the time we spent in your workshops and the follow up support you have provided have together joined the list of the most significant exercises I have undertaken to improve my management skills.
